for your Winter Holiday

The Katschberg Advent Trail is for us, one of the most beautiful places during the festive season. Enchantingly beautiful and with meticulous attention to detail. Here, you can hike on a floodlit trail from station to station and let the musicians and artists in the barns put you in the Christmas mood.

A horse-drawn carriage ride or a trip through the deep snow-covered landscape on the Katschberg is one of our highlights, just like a dog sled ride in Innerkrems. Together with the animals, it’s especially easy to forget everyday life.

Should the weather not be so good, we recommend that you pay a visit to the Badehaus Millstatt, to the Therme Warmbad Villach (approx. 35 minutes away) or to the Therme Bad Kleinkirchheim (approx. 45 minutes) thermal spas. A cloudy day makes an excellent day for shopping here in Gmünd or in the Italian-inspired Villach.
